Welcome to DTech. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of dtech.com.bd and to every purchase you make from DTech online, by phone or in our stores. By browsing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About us

DTech is a technology retailer in Bangladesh selling laptops, desktops, computer components, mobile phones, gadgets, accessories and related products. References to "DTech", "we", "us" or "our" mean DTech; "you" means the customer or visitor.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate, current and complete information when you register or place an order.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
  • We may suspend or close an account that gives false information, abuses offers, places fake orders or breaks these Terms.

3. Products, prices and availability

  • We try to show products, specifications and images accurately. Colours may look slightly different on your screen, and brands may change specifications without notice. Images are for illustration.
  • All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT, ৳) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
  • Prices and stock can change without notice. Stock shown on the website is not reserved until your order is confirmed.
  • If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund any payment in full, even after confirmation.
  • Campaign and offer prices are valid only for the stated period and while stock lasts, and may be limited per customer.

4. Orders and confirmation

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by phone, SMS or email.
  • We may call you to verify an order before processing it. An order that cannot be verified may be cancelled.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons including stock unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, incomplete delivery information, or an address outside our delivery coverage. If you have paid, we refund the full amount.
  • Bulk or reseller quantities may be limited or require a separate quotation.

5. Payment

  • We accept cash on delivery (where available), bKash, Nagad, debit and credit cards and bank transfer, as shown at checkout.
  • For high-value orders, or where our system requires, we may ask for an advance payment or full payment before dispatch. See our Online Delivery Terms.
  • EMI is available on eligible cards from participating banks, subject to the bank's terms. See EMI Terms.
  • You must be the authorised holder of any card or mobile wallet you use.

6. Delivery

Delivery areas, charges and timelines are described in our Online Delivery Terms. Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to you or the person receiving on your behalf.

7. Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund & Return Policy, and after-sales service by our Warranty Policy. These do not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.

8. Coupons, gift cards and points

  • Coupons have their own conditions (minimum spend, validity, products). Only one coupon can normally be used per order, and coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Gift cards can be used as payment up to their balance and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Star Points are governed by our Points Policy.
  • We may cancel coupons, points or offers obtained through misuse, multiple accounts or fraud.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • place fake orders or orders you do not intend to receive;
  • use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, other accounts or our systems;
  • copy, scrape or reuse our content, prices or images for commercial purposes without written permission;
  • post reviews or questions that are false, abusive, defamatory or contain advertising.

We may block access to the website, or to checkout, from accounts or network addresses involved in such activity.

10. Reviews and content you submit

By posting a review, rating or question, you give DTech permission to publish, edit for length or clarity, and use it on our website and marketing. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

The DTech name, logo, website design and original content belong to DTech. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DTech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, profit or business, arising from the use of the website or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Please back up your data before handing any device to us for service.

13. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, strikes, hartal, political unrest, government restrictions, internet or power failures, or courier disruption.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any issue quickly.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version on this page applies to orders placed after the "Last updated" date.
