DTech ("DTech", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit dtech.com.bd, place an order, visit one of our stores or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account and order details: your name, mobile number, email address, delivery and billing address.
  • Business details: for corporate customers, the company name, BIN/TIN and contact person.
  • Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, email, phone, live chat, WhatsApp or Messenger, and product reviews or questions you post.
  • Warranty and service details: product serial or IMEI numbers, invoices and the description of any fault.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, products searched and the time of your visit.
  • Cookies: small files that keep you signed in, remember your cart, wishlist and compare list, and help us understand how the website is used (see section 6).
  • Order security data: the IP address an order is placed from, used to prevent fraudulent and fake orders.

Payment information

We do not store your card number, card PIN, bKash/Nagad PIN or OTP. Online payments are processed on the secure pages of our licensed payment partners (such as SSLCommerz, bKash and Nagad). We receive only the payment status, amount and transaction reference.

2. How we use your information

  • To process, confirm, deliver and support your orders, including sending order and delivery updates by SMS or email.
  • To provide warranty, repair and after-sales service.
  • To create and manage your account, loyalty points and store credit.
  • To verify orders, prevent fraud, fake orders and misuse of our website.
  • To respond to your enquiries and complaints.
  • To improve our website, product range and service.
  • To send offers, new arrivals and newsletters, only where you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
  • To meet our legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations in Bangladesh.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed:

  • Courier and delivery partners (for example Steadfast, Pathao or RedX) receive your name, phone number and address to deliver your order.
  • Payment partners process your payment securely.
  • Brands and authorised service centres receive product and invoice details when a warranty claim needs them.
  • SMS, email and hosting providers that help us run our services, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Government or law enforcement authorities when required by the laws of Bangladesh or to protect our rights, customers or the public.

4. Data security

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are stored in encrypted form, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it for their work. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please keep your password private and never share an OTP with anyone. DTech staff will never ask for your password, PIN or OTP.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep order and invoice records for as long as required by tax and accounting law and for the warranty period of the products you buy. Account information is kept while your account is active. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the website (sign-in, cart, security) and analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) to understand visits and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the website, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them.

7. Your rights and choices

  • View and update your profile and addresses from My Account.
  • Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information, unless we must keep it by law (for example, invoice records).
  • Stop marketing messages at any time.

To make a request, email info@dtech.com.bd from your registered email address or contact our hotline. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

8. Children

Our website is not intended for children under 18. Purchases by minors should be made by a parent or guardian.

Our website may link to brand websites, payment pages or social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites; please read their policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
